How did you come up with the idea?
Cat Cafes have been around for a long time in southeast Asia. I thought it would be a lovely idea in London, and noticed a few had popped up in Vienna and St Petersburg and thought perhaps Europe was ready for this kind of place.
Why did you open this cafe?
I wanted to create a peaceful and happy place for people to enjoy, and to enjoy working in. We’re celebrating our 3 year anniversary in 2 days, and some of our team will be celebrating their 3 year anniversary with us.
What was the initial reaction from your first few customers?
We had so many - people were very excited! We were fully booked for the first 2 years and it’s still very difficult to secure bookings on weekends and evenings at our cafe.
