Hi there!  My name is Janet and I live with my family (hubby&amp; 2 teenagers) and our beloved pooch, Daisy.  We rescued Daisy in 2015 and this is when my love for dogs really began!In 2017 I became a dog walker and haven't looked back.  I'm focusing on the Stoughton and Fairland areas of Guildford.  I prefer walking my dogs off-lead and walk them Monday to Friday term-time only.  If you prefer a walk just once a week, I can do that.  I walk the doggies for an hour and if the weather is kind, we go for longer.  I walk in and around Guildford, always in a safe environment.  I tend to take 3 photos during the walk and send these to the owner after drop-off.  I also offer petsits!  I completed a First Aid Dog Course in 2019 &amp; a Pet Psychology Diploma in April 2021. Please message me if you have any questions and I'll reply as quick as I can.Thank youJanet


I am a 33 year old microbiologist. I've always had dogs at home, the breeds that I had were: Belgian shepherd, German shepherd, West Highland White Terrier and Labrador. My most recent companions were two female Czechoslovakian wolfdogs, Callie and Maya, that sadly passed away last year due to old age. Right now I am now allowed to have pets at my home and I would love to shower your little one with all the love I gave to my mine. Both my dogs were the sweetest but challenging so they trained me to be an expert with dogs with a lot of personality and to be always aware of escape routes, as they've learned how to turn keys on the doors!
I also had 3 cats, and a hedgehog! 
Also, I used to work in a veterinary hospital (North Downs Specialist Referrals) as a lab tech and gave a hand to the vets and nurses whenever I was allowed.
I am used to high activity dogs that require lots of mental and physical activity. 


I am a 4th year veterinary medicine student at the university of Surrey. I have years worth of experience owning rescue dogs with major behavioural issues as well as many different animals from a very young age so I am confident in my ability to care for someone else’s pets. As part of becoming a vet, I am dedicating my life to animals and I will treat every animal as if they are my own.
I have dogs, chickens, rabbits, Guinea pigs and turtles in my family home so I can look after many different pets if needed. I also have experience with sheep and goats.

I understand that pets can feel very anxious when away from their owners. From owning dogs like this myself, I am confident that I will be able to comfort these dogs and provide them with a relaxing experience. Additionally I can provide for dogs requiring lots of exercise and I enjoy long dog walks or runs.
I will constantly supervise any animal that I am taking care of and I make sure that every animal is fed and exercised as needed.
I am happy to look after any breed and size of dog and am confident in prescribing any medications they may need. 
I like to meet the owner and dog before sitting to make sure everything will go okay but I can also do last minute walks without a meeting if needed.

Living in central Guildford I like to mix up my dog walk locations from Whitmoor common/Chantries/Stoke park/Merrow Downs and even places near Woking. We are not short of places to walk. 
We live in a 3 bedroom semi detached house with a fully enclosed large back garden. Plenty of living space downstairs with two reception rooms where your doggies can cuddle up on the sofa. 
Meet and greet/Trial stay 
Before booking in with me I would advise a meet and greet so you can make sure you and your pet are happy. I also recommend a trial stay/visit if you are planning to be away for a longer amount of time (2 weeks +) to make sure your pet is happy with us.

I offer dog walking services, and drop ins to check in on pets whilst you are away. Drop ins can include whatever your pets need: feeding, medicine, walks, cuddles, litter tray cleaning, and more!
