"From the moment I saw Rory's profile, I had a good feeling about him.
Historically, I had always used catteries, but my boy is getting old and I was worried about doing that this year, so I found Pawshake. It was easy to find a sitter close-by and so I contacted Rory.
Before the booking was confirmed, Rory came to the house and spent a good amount of time getting to know my cat, Henry, asking questions, and listening without complaint to every instruction I reeled off! He shared stories and pictures of his pets and I knew I could trust him.
I booked for two visits a day and each day Rory would come in, feed and clean up any accidents (!) and spend quality time with Henry. He would send us videos and pictures to let us know how great everything was going.
The communication was great and I felt relaxed knowing that Henry was in good hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rory to look after any pet; he is kind caring and clearly very good with animals.

"We own 6 cats - not an easy task, but Ryan was absolutely amazing looking after all of them for 10 days whist we were away. On our return we found our cats healthy and happy. Ryan was sending daily updates on their well being together with photos. We can't thank Ryan enough for doing a great job and I hope he will be available next time when we need to travel . We highly recommend Ryan as an experienced and reliable pet sitter. Thank you, Ryan! :)) "

"What can one say about the marvelous Mari? We are extremely careful when choosing someone to look after our cats and with Mari we really struck gold. From our first communication with her and the first "face to face" meeting through to our actual trip abroad (and subsequent return home) She has been friendly, professional and she clearly loves cats to pieces (and trust me, ours can be a real hot handful!) We very sadly lost one of our three just before the trip and Mari was extremely sensitive and understanding with both ourselves and also (very importantly!) in her treatment of the other two who would obviously have been feeling the loss as much as us. She sent us videos every day which was extremely reassuring as well as a full report of her visit. Also, the house was spotless when we got home (hardly any litter on the floor - and that's quite an achievement as ours tend to do the can - can when leaving the litter boxes!) and she also not only changed the litters but she also CLEANED the litter boxes (like we do)
Finally, I'm a bit worried about leaving this review because we go away quite a lot and we don't want her constantly booked up so we can't book her!!
Seriously, if you are in need of a conscientious, caring, friendly, professional cat sitter, you really need look no further! Mari is the very best "

"Tatiana is just magic! Wanted to introduce our new puppy to potential dog sitters for doggy daycare soon. Had a great Meet and Greet with Tatiana then booked a home visit. Both went better than I could have imagined with Tatiana. She was so calm, gentle and knew exactly how to be with a new and bit nervous puppy. "I'm very happy and grateful to have found Jack on pawshake. Jack is warm, caring, loving and was very attentive to my baby cat Boo. I immediately felt that would be the case from Jack's energy when I met him for the first time. He was on time and spent enough time with Boo. I was sent regular updates with photos/videos and it was very clear in Boo's responses how loved and cared for she felt. When I got back Boo was super relaxed and happy. "I recently had the pleasure of having Natali as a cat sitter for my 20 year old cat, Sophie, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Natali was warm, caring, and incredibly loving, truly going above and beyond caring for my cat while away. "Anna is a true animal lover, and this was highly evident on her first meet and greet visit. She has the utmost respect and understanding for animals and allows them the time they need to feel comfortable with her. She has been absolutely amazing with my two cats. She has given them love and cuddles, cleaned up their toilet accidents, brushed them regularly, and tried to make sure they felt secure and comfortable each day we were away. Anna kept in touch each day, sending us videos and photos from the two visits per day, always happy to do so, which also kept us reassured that our babies were in good hands. We returned to find both cats very well cared for and happy. I will definitely be asking her to take care of them again in the future. "Stuart took care of my cat Bella twice a day while I was on holiday and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a very experienced pet-carer and it showed from his immediate understanding of Bella’s care needs to his excellent communication skills. Stu messaged me with a time estimate for arrival prior to each visit, gave feedback on each visit along with photos of Bella and left everything in good order.
