I have had pets since the day I was born and have been a dog walker for the last 14 years. I love animals they bring a special feeling to me and always manage to put a massive smile on my face. I enjoy working with all types of dogs and cats of all types of ages and behaviours. I am available Monday to Sunday early mornings and Monday to Sunday late evenings so would be great for someone who needs me twice a day at the begining and at the end of day. I am a very flexible working person who can be available at late notice I can work and have worked with all strengths of dogs and can most certainly handle all strengths and weights of dogs. i love to train animals and help them understand commands and enjoy being around people and other dogs. I am based in chertsey and can travel around 10 mile radius

I have always loved dogs and have been lucky enough to grow up with family dogs since the age of 6 and I now have my own dog, Miley (cocker spaniel- 2.5 years old). I live with my husband who also loves dogs and he is always willing to help out on weekends/evenings if needed. We both absolutely adore our dog and love looking after other dogs for friends and family too- more the merrier and we love them like they are our own. 
I work remotely at home majority of the week and we have a pet friendly house with a safe &amp; secure garden. Any dog that comes to visit/stay can make themselves comfortable in our home and have a play mate too! There are some lovely walks around us in Surrey too where we can enjoy the outdoor fun.

I will make sure that you are kept up to date and photos sent to you so that you can see how your dog is doing during their stay in our family home or on a dog walk.
If the availability is unavailable on the calendar then please always check with me anyway- every Thursday is blocked out but sometimes may have availability so please always check!

Your animals are more than just pets, they are members of the family. When you go on holiday, oraway for a while, if they could talk, they would say they would much rather stay in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of their own home, than go and stay in a stranger’s home or into kennels. This is especially true for older or anxious pets. It is far less stressful for them, they stay in their own environment and your house gets looked after too!  My fee is higher than some, but includes watering household and garden plants for you, so they stay alive for your return, as well as excellent care for your pets, whether dogs or cats.
I am a very active person and love walking in the countryside.  After many years of working for large companies as an Executive Assistant, I have taken early retirement and decided to follow my heart and love of dogs to do dog-walking, dog-sitting and house-sits. I have owned dogs for over 20 years, including rescue dogs, and have a particular love of Spaniels and Westies. I have undertaken a Pet First Aid course and also have a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate.  I have also owned cats for 40 years.
I own a 4 x 4 car with plenty of room for your dog, so we can go and walk in lots of different locations for a change of scene.

Dog-walking&nbsp;
I do solo walks only. so it will just be your dog on its own, getting one to one attention from me. This ensures your dog gets my undivided attention and care.  I don't do large pack walks.  I send lots of photos from our walks, see my profile photos.
Day or part-day dog-sitting 
If you are going out for the day, I will come to your house and keep your dog company and take them for a walk, or simply let them out in the garden if that is what you prefer.  I can also send you photos so you can see your dog is happy.  Just let me know how many hours you want me to spend with your dog.
Overnight dog-sitting in your home 
If you are going on holiday, no need to worry about your dog going into unfamiliar surroundings, as I will come to your house, stay overnight and look after your dog, so they don't need to suffer the anxiety of strange surroundings.&nbsp;

Hiya! Im Keira, an extreme animal lover that is dedicated to making pets happy. I have a dog of my own who is my entire world who inspired me to start dog sitting and dog walking. I have worked with animals since l've been 16 (so nearly three years) walking and caring for them at a boarding kennels. I have a passion to help others, and through pet sitting and walking, i get to achieve this. I also volunteer at an animal centre when I'm down in Southampton for university, where i work with both dogs and cats. Because university holidays are so long, i can easily pet sit and walk when i am at home. I have my own car so can get to and from pet owners houses to pet sit, and walk. For exercise, I can do 30 minutes - 1hr 30 minute walks, whatever your dog suits best. For boarding, I limit the number of dogs I care for at a time to ensure each one receives the attention they need. Typically, I’ll board up to 1 dog at once, ensuring a calm and safe environment. I offer two 30-45 minute walks per day, tailored to your dog’s energy level and exercise needs. In addition, I provide plenty of playtime, affection, and companionship to keep them happy and relaxed.
Pets in my care are never left alone for more than 1 hour during daycare and no longer than 3 hours during overnight boarding. I study at home, so I’m able to supervise guest pets almost 24/7, ensuring they have constant companionship. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine as I structure my work around walks, feeding times, and play sessions.
I live in a cozy, pet-friendly home with no other so your dog will enjoy a peaceful environment. Guest pets are allowed to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable—whether that’s in a crate, a designated pet bed, or even on the couch! I have a fully fenced backyard with secure gates, offering a safe space for your dog to explore and play.
I’m available throughout the week and weekends, offering flexible drop-off and pick-up times. I’m excited to meet your pet and provide them with a loving, caring home away from home!

I can offer 1 or 2 visits per day, with the evening visit being 30 minutes or a little longer if they like lots of attention and cuddles… In the morning,my visit might be a little shorter at 20 minutes, depending on your location.
