Hello! I am a PhD student and live in Cambridge. I am a dogs&amp;cats lover and the owner of 2 cats: Yuzi(a 4-year-old boy)&amp;Nico(a 2-year-old girl). I get on well with pets and animals and am good at looking after them.  When I was in my hometown, I used to take care of homeless cats at my university and others' pets during the pandemic when they were not at home. Besides, I love photography and am willing to record good moments for your pets. During the daycare, I can send pictures or videos for you to check the situation and I will report what happens at all times. I also would like to communicate with pet owners, if you have any additional requirements, please feel free to talk to me.

  About my services : 
- I can do simple administer medication to pets; grooming; watering plants; bringing the mail; rubbish dumps; simple cleaning works such as dishwashing, sweeping and mopping.
- I can offer 1-2 dog walks per day;
 - During home visits and house sitting, I can stay with pets for the whole day, as I work from home; 
- I am usually available on weekdays and weekends;
- Pets boarding/training: not available.

I have always had pets since I can remeber ranging from a St Bernard too a small syrian hamster. I believe in my life time so far I have had; dogs, cats, budgie, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and fish.

My little furry friend I have at the moment is Peggy, she is a 3 year old domestic short hair Cat who I recently have rescued through a charity as her old owners didn't want her anymore due to a accident which left her with only 3 legs. Peggy has adapted to life so well and is really settling in. When Peggy first came home, she was very nervous and didn't like certain sounds but having given her some space and constant reassurance Peggy is now right at home And loves chasing shadows along the floor but most importantly loves having snuggles on the sofa.

I am crazy about animals, and I have grown up with many different cats, dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs.I have experience caring for cats, not just my own, but for friends and family members who have trusted me to look after their pets when on holiday. I have also worked in a petshop and as a dog walker.I've always been especially passionate about cats and at the moment I have a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who is 15 years old and I adore. Hebe clearly adored her and our only worry was that she would sneak into her car when she left! Caroline had no problems running our house, which is not straightforward being quite old. ️ The creatures
As well as keeping your home tidy and secure, making sure your pets are safe, loved and healthy is my top priority. I've cared for many animals, furry, feathery and finned, and quickly forge a strong bond with them. Any cuddle is a good cuddle.
I prefer to look after a maximum of two well-behaved dogs and/or two cats, so that I can give each of them focused attention. I have a special affinity with mid-life and older pets and love chilling at home with them, once we've had a good play/walk/brush/cuddle. That said, I regularly fall in love with creatures of all ages, like the four-month-old mini dachshund puppy who stole my heart. I'm happy to give medication but would prefer not to be a full-time vet nurse.&nbsp;

From the moment Caroline applied for our sit her calm and confident manner allayed our fears. She managed a couple of health issues that arose with our eldest cat with compassion and care and sent us regular updates on her progress. I am out and about most days walking people’s pets and I have decided to now join Pawshake to expand my contacts, I already offer pet services in my area and have been doing this for a few years.
I also in my own spare time walk my neighbors dog in the evening and mornings when possible. I have been doing this for a while now and I really do enjoy doing this, I have a cat and I care for him too.. I also walk my boyfriends dog when I go over. I will never walk them off the leads.
A typical day?
Your dog will enjoy lovely long walks in parks and woods and will be knackered by the time they get back ready for a snooze.
Depending on what your dog likes I can bring their favourite toys, tennis ball etc...
What information is important to know about a dog ahead of time?
Please let me know if your pet has any special requirements, medicines etc...
I will also need to know any temperament issues with your pet in which you think I may need to know about so I am prepared.

One of the things I always tell about myself, when asked, is that I love animals. I've had dogs at home since I was a kid, and I know how it is to see them as another friend, child or member of your family. You want them to feel as loved as any other person you feel important in your life.
Experience:
I took care of the pets from my childhood neighbourhood while their owners were away. Some of these were older dogs who constantly needed attention and medicines. I moved to the UK a while ago and I live now with two very loving dogs I also take care of, walking and helping to take their medicines.
I'm all about being a friend, taking my time to gain your dog's trust, understanding their needs and how they want or need to be treated. So for me, it will always be a pleasure making a new friend, getting to know your pet. I enjoy long walks and physical activity so I'm sure those will be great activities to help that process.
Availability:
Im available on weekdays and weekends, usually daytime but depending on the day I can also do evenings. we can easily communicate and find the best way to make it possible!&nbsp;
