I grew up with cats and surrounded by family dogs, and look after both dogs and cats for friends frequently, but really I'm just an animal lover of all flavours! (If you have another kind of animal you need a sitter for, let me know)
Currently on a break from a career in academic research and doing semi-voluntary work from home, which leaves me with lots of time for looking after pets. Sadly as every few years I often have to move around for work, it's not fair on the animals to have pets of my own, but very excited to help look after yours!&nbsp;
Happy to have pets at mine, drop in to yours, or house sit, or whatever arrangement works best. My home is all ground floor (ideal for any pets with mobility issues) and near Crown Street Park and Abercromby Square for walks.
I'm a keen hiker, so if you have a particularly energetic dog that's no problem, we can go for a nice long walk round the city or to the larger parks.

During a typical drop-in, I will arrive at your home and spend ~30mins caring for your pet. This can include feeding, giving medications, lettingthem out to use the bathroom, lots of cuddles and treats, or even just layingdown next to them to comfort them.&nbsp;&nbsp;
A drop-in is different from a walk, in that during a walk, theentire time is devoted to being on the leash and hitting the pavement (orgravel). Walks do not include feeding or medications, as the primary focus ison getting out energy and providing mental/physical stimulation.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Boarding in our home - drop off and pick up available.  
I will take your precious pet into our home and treat them like apart of our family. I will send you frequent updates and pictures during theirstay with us. I will tailor their stay with us to their usual schedule and yourbespoke requirements. We crate our own dogs and have spare crates available. We are more than happy to board dogs who are not crate trained. We do not allow dogs upstairs as stairs are bad for dogs joints. We do allow dogs on our furniture. HOME VISITS  
I offer single 15 minutes visits or multiple visits on the same day. Each pet is very unique therefore I am happy to discuss all necessary requirements/requests with pet owners.

Home visits can include:

 Bath - any mucky pups will receive a pamper if needed/requested 
Training - I can offer training sessions which would be included in any of my pet sitting services

DOG WALKING   
I offer 30 minute walks. These can be solo walks or with dogs from the same household (maximum 4). I am also happy to offer 1 hour walks for any active dogs who require a lot of physical stimulation, for an extra cost. All dogs will be walked in quiet fields to maximise security. I do also offer walks round the local area if preferred.

I offer on and off lead walks for all my clients. All dogs require good recall skills to be eligible for off lead play. This ensures the dogs safety at all times. I offer recall/whistle training during all my walks! As they say . "Practice makes perfect" and as a dog owner myself, I believe recall is one of the most vital training skills to ensure dogs keep away from any danger such as moving cars , other dogs which may not be friendly and other situations which could put them at risk️ All pet owners will be asked for the "recall word/method"

️  All pet owners will be asked whether there is anything their pooch may be wary of, such as loud noises,cats/other animals etc. This will allow me to select areas where I believe the dog would thrive and enjoy. 

I provide for all my clients: 
 • Poo bags 
 • Treats (unless not suitable) 
 • Leads 
 • Transport 
 • Ball 
 • Towels
 • First aid kit 

I ask all my clients to have the following: 
 • Collar with name tag 
 • Microchip with up to date details (preferred) 
 • Treats if any dietary restrictions 
 • Shampoo and conditioner if a bath is requested

HOUSE SITTING 
Happy to discuss dates/requirements with any pet owners who require this service. Dogs will need to be able to stay alone for upto 4 hours a day so I can carry out any necessary daily tasks. House and pet security will be taken very seriously to ensure all measures are met and all pet owners are at ease. Doors and windows will be checked twice before leaving the house/throughout the day and at night. All keys will be placed in the desired place ,discussed with the owners. Eg. Leaving in the door or suitable location. I can use any back entrances if preferred. Pet owners will be asked to demonstrate how each specific lock works. 

OWNERS WILL RECEIVE REGULAR PUPDATES FOR ANY SERVICES PROVIDED, VIA PHOTOS/VIDEOS.

I will pick them up and leave them at the door of your house, as well as if you require me to come at a certain time at different times to take care of them, I will do so with the greatest of pleasure.&nbsp;
&nbsp;We will go for a walk, play, sunbathe, to see new and beautiful places, and different parks, I will pamper your furry friend a lot, and he will have a quality walk in which he can smell, test his senses, and return to home to rest peacefully.&nbsp;
The time of the walk with your doggy friend could be half an hour, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or more. You make the decision, the longer you choose, the happier I will be with them, at most on each walk I will be with 2 dogs at the same time.
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements if you need him to pay attention to something special, take it into account, for example, if he may become aggressive, escapist, or nervous, you need to administer oral medication or anything that you think is important.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi,
My Name is Chelsey and I have been brought up with animals all my life. I have a lot of experience with dogs, cats and exotics . 
I have a dog called Juno, 3 cats called Gizmo, Truffles and Charlie, one chinchilla called Willow, 2 Guinea pigs called Mable and treacle and my horse called Mr Coalman.
I have unfortunately recently lost my hamster called Cookie. 
I currently work in a veterinary hospital so would have lots of experience with the day to day jobs involved with looking after all types of different animals. Because of my job, I am competent at giving oral medications if and when needed and I pride myself on recognising when an animal is unwell and needs medical attention.
