Grumpy

Grumpy is a lovely cat but it took me more then 3 years to gain his trust as he was 100% stray when he started to come into my house with my previous cat. He is quite domesticated now but he is not the type of cat that you can take in your arms or that will sit on your lap. He is quite diffident with people that does not know and mostly runs away but he has never been aggressive with anyone. He loves to play with the stick, he could play all day with that and he eats his meat only after few cuddles. I do not think it will be possible for you to pet him the first few days or ever, but probably playing with him will facilitate that. I have a cat flap so he goes out whenever he wants but he has never been far away for more than couple of hours. He is mainly indoors or in the garden, he doesn’t use the litter and does his business outside so you will not need to clean the litter tray. He loves to come for cuddles in bed at night when I am under the cover but even during the day he often asks for them. He likes attention and he follows me the whole day. Thanks to the time spent indoor during lockdown we bonded a great relationship!
