Cats have a way of finding us, often when we least expect it, and that’s exactly how our journey with Şev and Roj began. They were once street cats, wandering through life in a state of desperation and vulnerability. When we first encountered them, they were thin, frightened, and in need of so much love and care. Little did we know, these two would soon become a cherished part of our family.

Şev is a curious and adventurous spirit. She’s always on the move, inspecting every corner of the house as if she’s on a mission. Whether it’s a hidden cupboard or a sunny windowsill, Şev is there, eager to explore. Her inquisitive nature brings so much energy into our home, and while she is bold in many ways, she also has a sensitive side. She finds comfort in the familiar and, like many cats, can become anxious during travel or change. That’s why our home has become her safe haven, where she can wander freely and happily.

Roj is quite the opposite of Şev in many ways, yet the balance they bring to each other is beautiful. Roj is our handsome, calm, and observant boy. While Şev is busy exploring, Roj prefers to sit by the window, quietly watching the world go by. He finds joy in the simple things—watching birds, observing children playing in the street, and basking in the warm sunlight. He’s a bit shy and doesn’t like to be out of his comfort zone, but once he feels safe, his affection is limitless. He’s our gentle giant, always by our side, offering quiet companionship.

What makes Şev and Roj even more special is the love they share for each other. They cuddle, play, and groom each other daily, creating a peaceful and loving atmosphere in our home. It’s clear that they know they’ve found safety, comfort, and a place where they belong.

As someone with extensive experience in cat care, I have learned to understand their needs intimately. Feeding, for instance, is not just about providing food; it’s about creating a routine that makes them feel secure. They thrive on regular feeding schedules, and I take care to offer them a balanced diet of both wet and dry food, ensuring they get the nutrition they need to stay healthy.

Playtime is another important part of their lives. Şev loves toys that challenge her sharp mind—anything that moves quickly or makes noise excites her. Roj, on the other hand, prefers quieter, more relaxed play. He enjoys feather toys and anything that allows him to engage without too much energy. Playtime not only keeps them active, but it also strengthens the bond between us as we share those joyful moments together.

I’m also well-versed in administering medications when needed. Whether it’s a pill or a special diet for a health condition, I’ve learned how to approach this with patience and care. Both Şev and Roj trust me implicitly, which makes even the trickier aspects of their care much smoother.

At the heart of it all, Şev and Roj simply want love and a place to feel safe. They are affectionate, kind souls who have transformed from the scared street cats we once found into the happy, loving companions we now cherish. They enjoy cuddles, being brushed, and spending quiet moments with us, whether on a cozy chair or by the window. Their presence has filled our home with warmth and peace.

I feel incredibly lucky to have Şev and Roj in my life, and caring for them is not just a duty—it’s a joy. The love they give in return is beyond measure, and watching them thrive has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Whether it’s ensuring they’re fed, healthy, and entertained, or simply being there to offer them affection, I take great pride in being their caregiver.

In opening my home to care for other cats, I bring with me the same level of compassion and dedication. I understand that every cat has unique needs, just as Şev and Roj do, and I’m committed to providing each one with the love, attention, and care they deserve.
