In January 2012 I introduced myself into the pet industry and set up a Dog Grooming and Pet Boutique business, trading name, The Doghouse.
The Doghouse was a small and friendly dog grooming parlour/ boutique with the emphasis on home comfort for our customers. We also stocked a variety of fashionable, whilst affordable items along with the everyday essentials, such as treats and food to bring in passing trade and keep our much-valued existing customers the service they expect. I am extremely proud to be recognized and award-winning within my industry.
Since closing my business, in addition to expanding my animal welfare knowledge by working as a veterinary receptionist, I also channelled my love of reading into a book review account on Instagram.
I have one Bernese mountain/ Labrador called Alfie who is almost 12 years old, two naughty little cats called Lily and Lola, a corn snake called Colin and a bearded dragon called mushu.
I bring dedication and a strong work ethic to any role I take on.
