Hi, I'm Kirsty, a friendly, caring, professional cat sitter for Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. With over 12 years of experience fostering cats and kittens for the local branch of the RSPCA, I have a wealth of experience and knowledge. I am an absolute cat lover, just like you. I have spent many years caring for a whole variety of cats and kittens with the RSPCA. Among all the gorgeous, playful kittens I have fostered, I have also cared for lots of pregnant mums giving birth, poorly kittens that need medicating, blind kittens, deaf cats, 3 legged cats, scared / nervous / temperamental and dopey cats! I also have worked with handling and taming feral cats. Caring for RSPCA cats involves a lot of nurturing, turning sometimes bedraggled, under nourished, poorly and frightened cats and kittens into confident, blossoming pets that can then be rehomed into their forever homes, which is the most rewarding experience! I have worked with over 1000 cats and kittens throughout my time with the local branch of RSPCA - who I still currently foster for now. I took a certificate in feline psychology in 2005 to help me understand these unique and gorgeous animals. If you are looking for someone with vast experience and knowledge who will look after and care for your cat whilst you are away so that you don't have to worry, you are in the right place! I currently have four indoor cats of my own, who are all RSPCA rescues. They are absolutely adorable, and love their fuss and attention. I also have 1 feral cat who lives outdoors with access to a shelter and who I have gained the trust of over the years. He now follows me around in the garden and hangs around for fuss. Along with my 5 cats, I also have 2 Labrador dogs who I love spending time walking, training and performing dog agility with. Personally, I have worked in the beauty industry initially, progressing to training therapists, and eventually teaching beauty at local colleges to now running my own chocolate business online from home. I also love the gym, running and am a keen roller-skater. All my life I have always been an animal lover having also previously owned, rats, ferrets, rabbits and guinea pigs. Running my own business has led me to be very organised and reliable. I will provide excellent care for your cat(s) along with giving you frequent updates and photos to reassure you whilst you are away that all is okay.
