Hi,
I cover mainly these areas- Southbourne, Tuckton, Christchurch, Iford, Boscombe.
I've done lots of travelling and enjoy exploring new places and am used to finding my way around. I'm a caring, quiet, organised, reliable person. I've worked in public libraries for many years. I enjoy cooking veggie food, walking, reading and creative writing- my books Animal Short Stories and Reflections on Nature: poems and prose came out via Amazon a couple of years ago.
I grew up on a small farm which started my love of animals and have been petsitting regularly locally and also on holidays around the UK since 2018, mainly for cats but have also done rabbits, guinea pigs and . I find it a great way to explore new areas or have a change of scene and have the company of new pets, whilst owners can be assured their pet is safe and happy at home and their home is being looked after in their absence.
I have plenty of experience with dealing with unexpected situations during petsitting, from pet sickness to leaks in the house and owners getting stuck abroad. During the first lockdown with a lack of petsitting I fostered 2 cats for 5 months and then shortly after that I adopted my cat Missy.
I offer home visits to check on cats, birds or small animals, feed them and give them a little company, or a housesitting service for those pets who need more company and to keep an eye on things in the house.
I work 3 and a half days a week, not from home, so not able to offer dogsitting at this time.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. 7 days before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Fiona was great, will definitely be requesting her to come from now on when we go away! Thank you so Fiona!
Another reassuring sit from Fiona. Despite a shorter than usual visit, Fiona recognised that one of my cats had become unwell during her stay (which as you know, isn’t always easy with a cat) and alerted me straight away. She took all sensible steps and stayed in regular contact, whilst we worked together to ensure the best care.
Fiona is extremely calm and conscientious - both priceless qualities in my book, when you need to rely on someone to look after your loved ones.
