Hello, I'm Rachel!
As a loving cat owner who has used Pawshake as a customer, I know very well how hard it can be to leave your pets behind when you go away on holiday. I know how important it is to receive regular updates, including photos, and to have that peace of mind that your pet is in good hands.
I've grown up in a household of cats and dogs, and have a lot of experience with animals of all ages and temperaments. I have experience in taking animals to the vets, administering medication and in dealing with a range of and requirements.
My cat Kitty was a shelter cat who came to us very scared and aggressive - after a lot of love and patience, she is now a lap cat! I also regularly look after my parent's elderly cats, one of whom is deaf and has dementia. I give her extra special care because she can sometimes get confused and frightened. She loves to sit and purr on my lap while I work.
If you trust the care of your pet to me, I can guarantee that I will give your pet the love and care that they need. I will give you regular updates and ensure good communication so you are never left in a state of anxiety and worry about your pet.
I have access to a car so I am happy to travel to you. I love walking my family dog in the Peak District, or sitting on the sofa with a couple of cats on my lap!
