About Mariella
I am a 21 year old student from West Sussex. I am at the University of Exeter, studying Politics and International Relations. I have a passion for animals and the outdoors, having grown up around them and helping my dad care for his furry patients. I would love to spend some more time around animals whilst at university and I would like to have a friend on my very many country walks.
I offer house sittings, pet check ins and walks. I am happy to look after multiple animals with all these services. I can drive and have my own car. If owners request it I can also take their pets on runs. Check ins and walks are for an hour, not including travel time. If you require longer I am happy to discuss it!
I also really encourage organising a meeting with me before you book. This is free and so you and your pet can meet me and make sure we all get on!
I have previously dog sat and also have experience dog walking. The main breeds I have looked after are Beagles, Retrievers and Labradors, but I am comfortable with all breeds. I have also interned for the veterinary company Hallmarq, focusing on MRI and CT care. I have less professional experience with cats and other animals, but I have an understanding of how to look after them. I am also happy with exotic pets, though I would need specific care instructions.
Since I am a student in my last year I will be in Exeter during term times and then will be returning home for the foreseeable future in June. I may also have lectures on certain days that I cannot miss but will make sure to fit walks and check ins around those.
