After my first house-sitting assignment two years ago in England, I realised that this is an absolutely lovely way to spend time with animals, without adopting one myself (I enjoy getting out into the hills sometimes, or travel abroad occasionally, so I am not ready to own my own pets). I love for walking and love dogs, so I am offering my services as a dog walker, pet-sitter, house sitter, cat-sitter (I will not walk the cats, unless specified :D). I grew up with both dogs and cats (and more) in my environment, and I am comfortable with pets of any size, shape and form. 

The assignment in England went very well, I looked after a budgie, two dogs, and a fish pond for three weeks. I am still registered with an agency, but the jobs are around South England and I prefer to stay in Edinburgh and/or travel within Scotland. I occasionally cat-sit my friends' cats, but I am now looking for more opportunities. 

I am also currently between jobs, and this allows me to devote more time and energy into building my pet caring experience. I am planning to get certified once I establish a little bit of foundation and know this is something I want to do long term. So far, I try to make sure I have a lot of flexibility in my life and this allows me to dedicate time and energy for pet-sitting, dog-walking and daily visits.

Update on availability: from December my work situation changes a little, but I haven't fully confirmed what days I am unavailable (potentially Tuesday and Wednesday). 2 days a week I will go to the office, but so far I am free around weekends.
