Hi there! 😊 My name's Elsie, I'm 24 years old and have recently moved to the Leith area from New Zealand. I absolutely love spending time with animals, and after having grown up with a myriad of much-loved family pets - I knew something was missing from my wee bubble as soon as I began travelling last year. I've since completed over a dozen successful pet & housesitting arrangements around UK/Europe within the past 12 months and can't wait to continue this service with local pets while living in Edinburgh.
Available for all your doggy daycare, cat visiting, overnight petsitting and dog-walking needs from now until late December (perhaps longer if I can't find more stable full-time work). Sadly no boarding can be offered at my own residence as my flatmate is allergic! However I'm more than happy to spend the odd night or two away in the pet's home. I'm a strong and active person who has handled dogs of wide-ranging sizes and temperaments, enjoying big outdoor adventures with the energetic ones as well as chilling out on the couch with the quiet ones.
Can provide plenty of positive housesitter reviews and a couple of references from local pet-owners too. Happy to arrange a preliminary meet & greet and/or a free 'taster' sit/walk to ensure I'm a good fit and that both your pets and I are comfortable going forward with a more regular service! We wholehearted recommend Elsie as a dogsitter! Elsie looked after our greyhound for a week whilst we were on holiday and the whole experience was flawless. Greyhounds have a lot of personality quirks and Elsie was not phased at all. Our dog was very comfortable and Elsie stuck to the normal routine. We had regular updates and Elsie treated our house with the utmost respect (and she cooked a delicious pasta when I returned). We are so grateful for her professionalism and kindness.
