About Océane
Hello, my name is Océane! (pronounced Oh-say-ane). I’m an arts student with a passion for animals.
I have always been surrounded by animals and have adored all creatures of all sizes. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents’ dog, who was incredibly reactive to adults and strangers. She taught me how to interact with dogs that are a bit troublesome.
Currently, I have an incredibly lazy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and an equally sleepy Exotic Shorthair cat. However, I have done my research on other dog and cat breeds and am knowledgeable about their needs and energy levels.
I help my uncle take care of his Romanian rescue, who is incredibly strong-willed and high-energy. He’s reactive towards other dogs, so I’m quite used to dealing with dogs that aren’t the best behaved and just need some patience and understanding.
I love all animals, from the largest Great Dane to the smallest hamster. I would love to take care of your pet and ensure they receive all the love and attention they need whilst you’re away.
I have a lot of experience dog sitting with my uncle’s dog and my grandparents’ old dog before she passed away. My favourite places to walk are Blackford Hill, Arthur’s Seat, Newington Cemetery, and Braid Hermitage. I’m just as happy taking your less energetic dog for a walk around the Meadows or your local park.
My services include dog walking, pet sitting, and home visits. As much as I would love your canine companion to stay at my house, I’m still living with my parents and have four siblings. My Cavalier isn’t a fan of other dogs, so I don’t want to put her under stress. When I’m at your place, I will always do my best to provide comfort and enjoyment for your pets.
Now, let’s talk about home visits! I will feed your pet with the food you’ve provided and spend plenty of time playing and interacting with them to break up their day. I will stay as long as you need for home visits (though I can’t stay for 24 hours). Your dogs (or cats!) will be taken out to your garden for toilet breaks and, depending on their energy levels, be walked one to three times a day.
I love small animals like hamsters, rabbits, rats, etc. I’m just as happy taking care of them as I am dogs and cats!
Extra Notes
• I would love to meet you and your animal before I pet sit them so they can get used to me.
• Sometimes my brothers and sister will come along with me. They’re equally as big animal lovers as I am!
• I will be asking questions about your pets, so please be prepared and honest.
