*Uptdated fees so please re-read description!
Im a Plymouth University graduate of Marine Biology and Oceanography, now back home in Leicester, I would love to continue this job back home!
For my placement year, I worked as a husbandry technician at my university’s lower vertebrate and invertebrate lab. I previously worked as a husbandry volunteer at a sea turtle rescue centre in Greece.
I used to pet sit 2 cats from a friend of mine in Greece, one of which is partially blind and deaf, so I'm used to working with animals with physical disabilities.
Pets have always been a part of my house from fish to rabbits to even Desert Locust! I house-sit for my granddad’s dog and dogs-sit my brother's two dogs regularly.
I cannot do pet boarding, but I can do dog walking and pet sitting or just house check-ins, keeping an eye on your pets while you're away!
I have experience with lower vertebrates + invertebrates, reptiles, rodents, cats and dogs!
I'm available for most pet walks after 1 PM on weekdays but available all day at weekends.
* Due to my reliance on public transport, I can do any morning visits from 9:30 am but no earlier. I don't mind travelling but for longer jobs (7+ days), a £2 per day travel expense might be added to help get me to you if you are ≥2 miles away from my address!
In my spare time, I do long walks, if your pet requires long-distance walks (~2 hours), I am willing to do so, for an additional fee!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter. would recommend to anyone and everyone
Ky has a lovely enthusiasm for animals and is amazing with our puppy. He is clearly very well-looked after and stimulated on his walks; we return home to a calm, settled and happy boy. Add to this Ky's regular communication and updates, we'll definitely book with her again. Very highly recommended!
