We are a queer friendly couple aged 24 & 25, looking to explore the UK now that I (Ruby) have finished university. Having around 10 years each of personal pet care from our home lives, family members and friends, we have spent the last year professionally petsitting and building up our expertise and we're now super excited to connect with pet parents on pawshake!
My bachelors degree was in Marine Biology and my postgraduate degree was in Animal Behaviour, so I am a huge animal lover and passionate about travelling to experience new places, cultures and people. Maxwell studied social sciences, such as psychology and sociology, and is now a proud "house-hubby" who finds lots of joy in caring for places and pets. He loves to travel around and is never in one place for too long!
I'm currently employed as an ecologist doing bat activity surveys around the country and we're both quite artsy so love creating things, watching anime and spending time in nature. We look forward to meeting lots of new people and pets!

We offer pet sitting in the owners home and are more than happy to do long sits. We have over 10 logged petsits on trusted house sitters with our longest being up to 3 weeks! Just ask and we would love to show you our glowing reviews and can even provide references from out repeat bookings. We are happy to administer vitamins and oral medication, as well as offer some light grooming such a brushing fur and teeth, and keeping ontop of already established training routines.
Our standard walks are usually 30 minutes at the nearest green spot or beach, though we can of course take your pets favourite route instead! Please feel free to inquire about longer walks and multiple pets.
We are also happy to pop into local homes to feed pets and let them out, these visits are usually 30 minutes long so we can give some attention, food and an appropriate time for any outdoor relief! We would also be willing to do small tasks like bring in the mail or water indoor plants.
We're happy to discuss timings and most appreciate afternoon or evening bookings :)
