Hiya! I’m Mia, a 22-year-old from Islington with a lifelong love for animals. Growing up, I was always surrounded by pets, right now we have Stella, an adorable 9-year-old cockapoo. Over the years, I’ve cared for all sorts of pets—rabbits, hamsters, turtles, guinea pigs. Caring for animals is second nature to me, from walking and feeding to bathing and, of course, giving them all the love they deserve. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’ve always been the family’s go-to for teaching our dogs tricks and recall, so I like to think I’ve got a pretty good knack for it. I’m really excited to start on Pawshake because I genuinely miss having a pet around since moving out. With plans to travel next year, I can’t commit to one of my own just yet, but this seems like the perfect way to enjoy some furry companionship in the meantime.

I work full-time in the city, but my job is flexible, allowing me to work from home during the week. This gives me plenty of time to care for your pets.

I live in a flat in Islington with my best friend, Ruby. It’s just the two of us—no kids or other pets—so your pet will have our full attention. We don’t have a garden, but we do have a balcony and are lucky to have several lovely dog parks nearby.
