I have been a dog owner for most of my life. I sadly lost Alfie earlier this year. He was the gentlest labrador and my best friend for the last 14 years and I miss him very much, but I'm not ready to get another dog just yet. My parents live locally so Alfie spent days with them whilst I was working and in return I would walk their dogs at the weekend.
I do miss having a dog in the house and being a teacher I am lucky enough to have a lot of holidays so to take advantage of this I would enjoy looking after your dog and treating them like a member of my family.
I have only pet sat for family before, and of course I have owned dogs so have experience looking after dogs I enjoy going for long walks and have a fenced in garden for your dog to enjoy. When the weather is good the doors will be open so your dog can enjoy popping in and out.
I would prefer to only take vaccinated pets into my home due to being around my parents dogs. I will happily follow owners' instructions regarding how they want me to look after their dog.
