Growing up I've always had pets at home including dogs, cats and fish. I was brought up alongside a big family which always made plenty of room for pets. Since moving away from home I would love to still have pets in my life, but currently having one of my own is not affordable at the moment.
I enjoy getting outdoors, be it for running, walking or cycling and I love the company of furry friends too!
I'm currently living in Woodhouse and work in Harehills for a homelessness charity. I graduated from the University of Leeds in summer 2021 in BA Politics. In my spare time I enjoy running, dancing, reading and watching movies. I am also experimenting with becoming a plant mum, but I am yet to see where this goes.
I've walked my family's cocker spaniel dog for over 10 years, well into his old age where his needs differ as he suffers from arthiritis. I have volunteered walking others dogs in Leeds for a year.
I am open to walking dogs, cats and other pets which enjoy going to the park and exercising, or even just to socialise. The dogs I previously worked with wanted my support to become less anxious around other people, and eventually they became more familiar with me and were much more confident.
I am available some weekends and evenings, but please message me and I can see my flexibilty for that week - I can often do late afternoons too as I sometimes work from home.
I can walk pets around my local park, by the canal, through town etc depending on the suitabilty of the walk for the pet in question.
