Hello! We’re Louise and King Kai —Your Pet’s Next Best Friends

My name is King Kai, and I’m here because I truly understand the love and joy that pets bring into our lives. I was lucky enough to grow up with two poodles who were more than just pets—they were my brother and sister. Together, we shared every milestone for more than 10 years, from welcoming their five beautiful puppies into the world (I even helped with the delivery!) to raising each little one until they joined loving homes within our family. These experiences taught me from an early age how to provide the nurturing, attentive care that pets deserve

Today, my partner and I are dedicated animal lovers based in Leeds City Centre near Canal Whaft with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages. We’re both creative professionals working from home, which allows us the flexibility to give full attention and love to the pets we care for. We’ve had the joy of taking care of dogs and cats for friends and family, always ensuring they feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as they do at home. We genuinely believe that pets offer the purest love in the world, and we treasure every chance to return that love to them.

Our Goal as Pet Sitters

Our mission is simple: to provide a warm, caring environment where your furry baby feels completely at ease and at home. We want you to rest easy knowing your beloved pet is in safe, loving hands, enjoying every moment until you’re back together. With us, your pet will always be treated like family, because that’s exactly how we see them.

Our Neighbourhood

Located in a safe, vibrant area near Leeds Train Station, our neighbourhood offers plenty of pet-friendly spaces, perfect for walks and outdoor play. We have a small green area right inside our building for quick breaks, and just a 3-minute walk away, the Water Lane provides a scenic path along the river where dogs can stroll on the grass and even spot a friendly family of geese. For longer walks, we’re a few minutes from Park Square, a beautiful park with open lawns where dogs can run, play, and enjoy the sunshine. This variety of spaces allows us to tailor each walk to your pet’s preference—whether they love quiet paths, longer walks, or nature-filled parks.

Services Offered

• Home Boarding and Doggy Daycare
• We welcome pets into our home, where they’ll find a cozy space to call their own, with options for sleeping on a pet bed, or our sofa if that’s their routine at home.
• We board up to two dogs at a time, allowing us to give each pet the individualised attention they deserve.
• Walks are provided 2-4 times a day, typically lasting 30 minutes, but we’re happy to adjust this based on your pet’s habits or preferences. We love being outdoors just as much as they do, so we’re flexible with walk durations.
• As dedicated, home-based pet sitters, at least one of us can supervise pets 24/7, ensuring they’re never left alone for more than 1 hour (daycare) or 3 hours (boarding).
• Dog Walking
• Our dog walks are tailored to each dog’s personality and energy levels, from short, relaxed strolls to more adventurous outings to nearby parks. Each walk typically lasts around 30 minutes, though we’re always willing to adapt.
• Home Visits
• During home visits, we spend about 30 minutes with your pet, giving them quality playtime, feeding, and any necessary clean-up. We can also assist with small household tasks like watering plants or bringing in the mail. 
• House Sitting
• When house sitting, we stay in your home to provide familiarity and security for your pet, following your instructions to keep them happy and safe. We take home security seriously and make sure everything is securely locked and maintained throughout our stay.
  

Additional Care and Flexibility

We’re attentive to each pet’s unique needs, whether that means following specific routines, administering medications, or providing basic grooming like brushing. We’re committed to offering each pet the best care and attention, so they feel at ease and their owners feel confident.

Our Home Environment

Our apartment is comfortable, calm, and pet-friendly, making it an ideal space for pets to feel right at home. Since we both work from home, we’re always around to play, provide companionship, and supervise. Pets fit naturally into our daily routine, whether it’s for a quick cuddle break or a playful session in between work tasks.

Availability and Supervision

With our flexible, home-based schedules, we’re available throughout the week and on weekends, ready to adapt to your pet’s routine. Our 24/7 supervision means pets are never left alone for extended periods, giving you peace of mind that they’re in safe hands.
