*PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT TAKE DOG BOARDING BOOKINGS BEYOND FIVE NIGHTS*
Being a pet sitter is something I'm really excited about, and it all goes back to my upbringing in Devon with our family dog. He is a permanent fixture back home, and I can't imagine life without furry friends around.
Growing up with a dog has given me a firsthand understanding of the incredible bond and joy they bring to our lives. It's like having a best friend who's always there for you, no matter what. That experience has fueled my passion for animals and made me want to be a pet sitter.
The idea of taking care of pets while their owners are away just makes me both excited and honoured. I want to make sure your best firmed is happy, safe, and loved while you are on vacation or busy with work. I'll be like the coolest aunt, spoiling them with attention and playtime!
With my experience of dogs growing up and looking after multiple dogs from Borrow My Doggy and even house sitting a dog in America, I can assure you'll I'll give you peace of mind that your pooch is being cared for whilst you are away. It's a chance to combine my love for animals with a job that brings happiness to both furry friends and their humans. Can't wait to start!

Blu had a great stay with Cyann. Amazing communication and updates about his staying all the time.
Thank you, we will definitely see you in the future.
We had a very mixed experience with Cyann. I think Cyann would be great at sitting with smaller pets and one pet at a time, however maybe lacks the experience with larger / medium dogs. We left two dogs with her, one of them was a rescue which we let her know in advance and it was our first time leaving him with someone. We went abroad and the very next day Cyann let us know that she was unable to handle our dogs, feeling very anxious due to them barking, being active, using the bathroom at her office, and one of our dogs nipped her which was very out of character for him as far as we knew. However, as we did let her know, this was their first time without us, it could be expected that the first few days would require adjustment that I dont think she was experienced enough to provide. Considering these issues, there was a real lack of communication as we tried to call numerous times and never recieved a call back, Pawshake reached out to us to say that she wanted to terminate the boarding immediately which left us quite panicked and having to stressfully find a new boarding solution from abroad. With that being said, Cyann did text us to help us find other available alternative solutions eventually finding one that same day, but we never met the person who they went to and overall it ended up being a very stressful experience for us, Cyann and our dogs who ended up being transported twice and in 2 new homes within 2 days.
Sitter's reply:
I understand the owners' frustration, but my experience with their dogs was challenging. I was bitten aggressively three times and didn't feel safe. I texted the owners, but they called while I was arranging a replacement. I spent £26 on an Uber to ensure the dog's safe transfer. The dogs didn't behave as the owner's implied they would in my office, barking at everyone. These dogs were more than just active; they pulled hard on the leash, barked excessively, and required constant attention. I fell multiple times due to their jumping, resulting in scratches and bruises. Despite my experience with large dogs including active dogs, their behavior was unlike any I'd encountered. The owners assured me they had no issues before, but the dogs needed professional care and focused attention, which I believe only a kennel could have provided. Although one dog was rescued, I was told this didn't affect his behavior. They were said to be toilet trained, but one urinated in my bedroom, and the other defecated in my office. I tried to improve things, spending two hours daily in the park and buying additional treats and a ball. Despite following the owners' instructions, I felt unable to meet their needs and found a new sitter who could. Given the dogs' demands, I sought the best solution for the dogs and myself.
