Hi my name is Jan, I am originally from Nottingham but have recently moved to a flat in London where unfortunately it is not possible for me to keep a cat!

I really miss having a cat, so thought that cat sitting would be the ideal opportunity to hang out with them.

I have always had cats around before moving to London. I have adopted cats from rescue centres and have been adopted by stray cats needing a home. As I have always lived in semi-rural or rural areas, it was ideal for taking in and looking after stray cats. Some of the cats we adopted were timid and scared possibly from some abuse in their former homes. It is wonderful to see a scared cat regain its confidence.

I would be very happy to keep your cat company whilst you are away enjoying a worry free holiday.

The cats in the photos are called Joey (grey cat) and Sammy (black cat) and lived with me in Nottingham. I also have a number of cats that have adopted us in our Villa in Turkey.

As well as taking care of your cat I am happy to water plants and pick up mail etc

I am a self employed graphic designer which gives me some flexibility to pursue other interests.
