Hi, my name is Maria. I live in Shirley, Southampton with my 12 year old rescue dog called Malinka (meaning Raspberry :) ). I've taken her for walks since she was a puppy and over the years, I've learnt to understand her complex behaviour and also learnt how to calm her when she is barking at other dogs and cats as soon as she sees them. I'm always gentle and kind to her, but also assertive at times to keep her safe. I'm always highly alert and allow my dog to guide me which way she wants to go!

I love dogs in general, I really believe that they are a human's best friend (Malinka definitely is for me) and that we should take care of them and show them love like they always do for us. Therefore, I will do my best to keep your dog safe on the walk and make sure that they enjoy it! I'd say that walks are one of the most important aspects of a dog's life - it's like their own little adventure.

I would love to take your dog for a stimulating and refreshing walk, and since I have experience with a rescue dog, I would be happy to walk your dog even if he/she has small behavioral problems (barking/pulling at dogs, cats or passers-by is not a problem). I'm happy to discuss your dog's needs/behaviours.
