I believe pets need mental stimulation through exercise and play, especially in a city like London where they might not get much run around at home, particularly in the absence of a backyard. To be honest, it kind of breaks my heart sometimes to see how people confine their dogs to small apartments here.

I've had dogs my entire life, developing a calm and confident command with animals of ranging temperaments and I'm entirely comfortable with any breed of dog. I've a keen understanding of a dogs need to expel energy and need for companionship.

I've also become attuned to the needs of cats with my girlfriend having adopted a British Short Hair four years ago and regularly exercise her through play as her breed is recommended to be indoors.
