Hello everybody! I love animals and working with them is a pleasure. I have 3 cats and a dog of my own and also kept rehomed ex battery hens for several years. I have 3 children (all teens and above) and care for people as well as animals. I have a small business and am an artist. I have a First Aid Certificate for pets.

I work within and around my local area and this enables me to be flexible and usually available at short notice. I am able to visit at varying times in the day/evening depending on present commitments.I live very close to Streatham common and can walk dogs there and in the surrounding area. I also feed and care for pets, (including any necessary treatments as directed by the pet owner), clean up after them and, of course, play with them.

I understand the need for pet owners to employ somebody to care for their pets whilst they are at work/busy. As a pet owner myself, I also understand how important it is to have a pet carer who is kind, patient and willing to treat and care for the pet in the way they are used to. Dogs in particular, need interaction with people and are not happy being left alone for long periods, this is where I come in. A visit/walk breaks up their day and provides the necessary stimulation until the owner is home. I will always work with the owner to ensure I provide the care needed.

When visiting pets at home, I am happy to provide general care aoround the house; this may be watering plants, collecting post etc, please ask for any special requirements. I am particularly careful about house security when leaving. Vists at home are generally half an hour to one hour, depending on need, walks for dogs around half an hour. 

Availability will vary depending on current commitments. Please ask for longer visits as required; I can often accommodate.

I am very used to chickens and as a child grew up with and cared for, a parrot, budgies and small mammals.

I believe in consistency with pets and will therefore try to keep continuity of care in the way the owner suggests they are used to.
