About Alison
Hi,
My name is Alison and when my last dog died I made the difficult decision not to get another dog for a few years as I'm now semi retired and planning to do a fair bit of traveling. I know in my heart it's not the right time to get another dog but the house seems so quiet and I miss my twice daily walks. If I can't walk my own dog, I'm hoping I can get my doggy fix by walking/siting yours:)
I grew up with dogs and have had dogs of my own most of my life, My last dog, Timmea (a Romanian rescue dog) was a German Shepherd cross and before her I had 2 other rescue dogs, Max, a fantastic but typically rather obsessive border collie and Roxy, a terrier cross who was a real character. My mum who is now 91 had a dog until a couple of years ago and my sister, my brother and one of my daughters all have dogs. We're basically a doggy family. In the past I've also had a pet rabbit, a guinea pig, a tortoise and various hamsters. One of my other daughters has a cat. Animals have always been and will always be a big part of my life.
I live in the Abington area of Northampton. I'm available at any time during the day. I have a full driving licence and a car I'm happy to have dogs in so I can do pick ups and drop offs and would be able to take your pet to the vet in case of an emergency.
Dog walking - walks would be for a minimum of half an hour and I'm happy to walk for much longer if required.
Pet sitting - I'm happy to play with your pet, feed it, groom it or do whatever is required and the visits would be for a minimum of half an hour.
Dog boarding - your dog/dogs would be the only dog/dogs in the house so therefore would not necessarily need to have been vaccinated.
Please note that an overnight stay is for 24hours. If you drop your dog off at 10 am and pick them up in the afternoon or evening of the following day, then an extra dog walk would also need to be booked.
