Hi, I'm Clara! I'm a theatre and film student, but above all, I'm a full-time animal lover :)

I've always had a natural connection with animals, and friends often trust me to care for their pets, whether it's walking them or just keeping them entertained.

I want this job because I believe pet-sitters and dog-walkers should be people who truly love and understand animals—just like me. Every time I see a dog on the street, it fills me with joy, and I can’t resist asking the owner if I can say hello. Being away from my own pets right now makes me miss that special connection even more. Animals genuinely brighten my day, and I want to do the same for them.

I've been surrounded by animals my whole life. I grew up with a Bichon Frisé, whom I cared for until his last day and a wonderful Labrador who was full of energy and always ready for adventure. Through caring for them, I learned how important affection, attention, and excitement are for a dog’s well-being. My Labrador loved long walks and socialising, so I have plenty of experience in keeping dogs happy and engaged. I’ll make sure to pay close attention to your dog’s energy level and tailor the walks to suit their needs - whether they’re up for an energetic run or prefer a relaxed, leisurely stroll.

 I've also had the pleasure of dog-sitting a sweet King Charles three times for a month at a time, and it was so rewarding to build a bond with him and make him feel loved even while his owners were away. The way he would get excited when he saw me really warmed my heart.

Currently, I have a cat named Leo back home, a very sassy tomcat, but even with his strong personality, I’ve earned his love and respect. I learnt how important patience is with them, and how they need to feel independent, sense trust and be allowed their own decisions. I adore cats and know how to win them over, even when they like to play hard to get :))
