I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10, starting with fish and hamsters working my way up to rabbits and dogs and even turtles. I love everything about animals, I've often looked after friends and families pets and have a wealth of experience with different breeds from toy breeds to large breeds.
My wife has a degree in animal welfare and has a similar background taking care of gerbils, rabbits, fish and dogs for most of her life.
I’ve recently had and brought up two puppies, and also care for an elderly husky who has arthritis, asthma and pancreatitis. Well versed in medication and special diets, also looked after post op dogs needing abit more rest and some TLC. I'm currently undergoing a grooming course which includes animal psychology and looking for signs of distress.
I offer a caring and loving environment for home boarding. Detached house in a safe area, fully fenced garden and nearby countryside for walks. Dogs can be separated if needed with baby gates or separate rooms. All floors downstairs are washable to ensure good hygiene at all times. The street is quiet, not many disturbances ensuring for a stress free stay.
I also offer house visits and dog walking. I'm healthy and used to walking a powerful huskey as well as small miniature toy breeds. No dog is too small or too large.
Professionally I’ve worked in the care industry for 10+ years, caring for the elderly and helping win an outstanding rating from CQC. During my time I was fully background and criminal record checked which I'm happy to share.
I love to care and help people but animal care is my passion.

Bruce was very well treated. Bruce loves to play with other dogs and Thomas didn't see this as an issues but embraced Bruce instead. Bruce had regular walks and photos were sent daily to update us on how he was doing. Bruce will definitely be staying with Thomas again for our other upcoming breaks.
Would highly recommend! My dog stayed with Thomas for 4 nights and he loved it! I got picture updates and messages every day and felt that he was so safe and looked after while I was away. 10 out of 10!
