Your animals are more than just pets, they are members of the family. When you go on holiday, or
away for a while, if they could talk, they would say they would much rather stay in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of their own home, than go and stay in a stranger’s home or into kennels. This is especially true for older or anxious pets. It is far less stressful for them, they stay in their own environment and your house gets looked after too! My fee is higher than some, but includes watering household and garden plants for you, so they stay alive for your return, as well as excellent care for your pets, whether dogs or cats.

I am a very active person and love walking in the countryside. After many years of working for large companies as an Executive Assistant, I have taken early retirement and decided to follow my heart and love of dogs to do dog-walking, dog-sitting and house-sits. I have owned dogs for over 20 years, including rescue dogs, and have a particular love of Spaniels and Westies. I have undertaken a Pet First Aid course and also have a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. I have also owned cats for 40 years.

I own a 4 x 4 car with plenty of room for your dog, so we can go and walk in lots of different locations for a change of scene.

I offer the following services: 

Dog-walking 

I do solo walks only. so it will just be your dog on its own, getting one to one attention from me. This ensures your dog gets my undivided attention and care. I don't do large pack walks. I send lots of photos from our walks, see my profile photos.

Day or part-day dog-sitting

If you are going out for the day, I will come to your house and keep your dog company and take them for a walk, or simply let them out in the garden if that is what you prefer. I can also send you photos so you can see your dog is happy. Just let me know how many hours you want me to spend with your dog.

Overnight dog-sitting in your home

If you are going on holiday, no need to worry about your dog going into unfamiliar surroundings, as I will come to your house, stay overnight and look after your dog, so they don't need to suffer the anxiety of strange surroundings.
