My Experience

My love for dogs began early in life 🥰. In 2007, I adopted my first dog, a Jack Russell Terrier, from the RSPCA. He lived until the grand old age of 17, teaching me everything I know about dog handling 🐕‍🦺. As he developed doggy dementia, I gained valuable experience in caring for senior dogs, understanding the importance of patience, care, and attention to detail 🌈 I also have experience raising young dogs from puppies, including my current Dachshund-Jack Russell cross and a Miniature Dachshund, Gini and Lola 🐾. They keep me busy with their adventures and beach walks! 🏖️🐕

I know firsthand what it’s like to balance work, life, and pet care, which drives me to help others with the same challenges 💼 I genuinely care about dogs’ well-being, and seeing their joy during walks or playtime is incredibly rewarding 😊🐾

Services Offered

I provide drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting services. For drop-in visits, I will spend around 30 minutes to an hour with your dog, ensuring they’re fed, have a bathroom break, and get some playtime 🕒. I can also water plants and bring in the post if needed 🌿📬 Each dog walk lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, with visits to pet-friendly parks or beaches where your dog can explore and play 🦮. During house sitting, I can stay in your home overnight or for extended periods if needed. I follow your dog’s regular schedule and keep an eye on your home’s security by locking doors and windows, turning on exterior lights as needed, and keeping blinds or curtains closed for privacy 🌙

Pet Care Expertise

I can administer medication to pets, including pills and topical treatments 💊🐶. While I don’t offer grooming services, I can help with basic training, such as reinforcing commands like “sit,” “stay,” and leash walking 🦴

My Routine & Availability

Working from home most days, I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and weekend house sitting 💻🐶 if you would like me to house sit during the week then please send me a message and I will see what I can do to accommodate. I aim to supervise pets closely, ensuring they’re comfortable and happy throughout my stay 🥰🐾 I’ll keep them company and supervise them for the duration of the sitting 🏡

Before taking on new clients, I always arrange a meet and greet to ensure both myself and your dog feel comfortable and familiar with each other 🐾😊 I will ask you questions about your dog to ensure we are both happy! I can also share with you my DBS Check and insurance if required

👋 I grew up in Formby and then lived in Preston for 13 years before moving back to Formby in 2014. Now, I live in Waterloo with my partner, our two dogs 🐾—Gini and Lola—and my partner’s kids, who join us on weekends 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

By day, I work in Information Security 💻, but my true passion is spending time with my furry friends 🐕 I love taking them on walks and exploring new places with them! When I’m not with the dogs, you’ll find me at the gym 🏋️‍♀️ enjoying spin classes 🚴‍♀️ and reformer Pilates 🤸‍♀️ or catching a film at the cinema 🎬 and hanging out with friends 😊
