I have been caring for cats for 20 years owning a grand total of 7 cats along with my wife during that time and currently have a complement of 3.
I would not describe myself as just a cat-person, I’m an animal person and like meeting all kinds of pet although yes cats are my first love.
As a cat owner you’ll know trust can sometimes be hard-won from your pet but when it is, it results in a long lasting bond.
I love meeting new animals and hope that I can earn your trust to keep looking after them and become their cat pal when ever you are away from home.
I’m a professional who works from home a lot so have ample flexibility to make visits.
Initially I would recommend an “in situ” visit so both you and your pet(s) can meet me and we can establish first contact and I can receive instructions for their needs, preferences and any medication.
Ideally on my visits I will get to know your pet, play with them, groom if required (and your pet is willing!) or simply reassure them with some affection once they feel comfortable with me.
If your pet has free range of your home, it will also be important to establish boundaries of where you would like me to go in the home.
Alongside feeding, medication and other care, I will make sure post is collected from doormats or take in parcels if left outside. I can also re-station rogue robot vacuums if they get stuck (more common than you’d think).
If veterinary care is required, this is no problem and is chargeable at the same rate as a standard visit if your vet is within a 5 mile radius.
