About Hannah
I am an animal lover who lives with my family, all of which are adults and all of whom share a love of animals too.
We have a detached house in Woolston with a garden all around, ¾ of which the dogs have access to. This area is surrounded by a brick wall with fencing on top: metal side gates complete the security of the gardens, which are split into two areas so dogs can be separated outside if necessary. One side is cooler with more shade, so access is available all through the summer without fear of dogs overheating.
We live near the city but also not far from a recreational area where dogs can be let off leads to play (about a 5 minute walk). The area has a field and woods.
Inside, all dogs have the run of the downstairs if appropriate, but they can be separated indoors too. We don't allow them upstairs and we have a non conventional barrier. This may make the hallway look a bit untidy from the door, but it works for us and the dogs really don't mind!
My first proper pet was a snake but we did have 2 dogs (German shepherds) when I was little. We now have an exotic pet which is a tarantula. Unfortunately Alicia (the snake) has now passed. My mum sometimes has dogs round our house too so I might be limited on how many spaces I can have on certain days. But please get in touch to check as it varies.
My mum has been a pet sitter since 2015 so I've grown up around various dogs and more recently helped out with looking after them. She has also taken me to help with cat sitting so I have experience with that too.
I offer house visits for cats, dogs and small animals (including exotics), but my range is somewhat limited due to being unable to drive at present (2024), so I can take busses and/or walk. I am pretty flexible and want to do the best for you and your pet, so please if you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch.
