Hi,
I'm Violet, a dog walker and pet sitter based in Chichester. I also work part time in environmental compliance 🌿.
I currently have a lovely rescue guinea pig - Sophie and have had guinea pigs for the last 10 years - both inside, outside and a mixture of both. Over this time, I have built up experience and confidence with small animal care (guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters) including cleaning, feeding, handling and administering oral medication including 2 years of volunteering at the Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre.
Over the last few years, I've gained experience in looking after both indoor and outdoor cats and administering oral medication.
At the moment I'm very lucky to walk daily and look after a lovely yorkie and have built up a great relationship with him and his owner over the last 4 years. I've done dog walking and sitting (including overnight) with and without owners being at home. I also have experience with walking and looking after puppies, elderly dogs and rescue dogs of lots of different temperaments. We have a lovely 7 year old rescue Yorkie, Beck 🐶.
I always aim to tailor my care to fit each individual pet and their owner and I'm very flexible with the care that I can offer (adhoc, regular, emergency/last minute, holiday) during the week, including evenings and weekends. I'm happy to do pet-related care including:
-Dog walking at any time of day for 30 mins or longer.
-Dog sitting during the day, evenings or overnight or home visits (for company/playtime, feeding) at any time of day for 30-60 mins. I'm happy to work with you to support any training.
-Cat sitting or home visits (for company/playtime/feeding/cleaning/administering oral medication) for 30-60 mins.
-Small animal home visits at any time of day (for feeding, cleaning, administering oral medication, cuddles!) 30-60 mins.
I'm based in central Chichester but I'm happy to travel anywhere within a 5-mile radius. If you have any questions or would like to ask about a care option that is not listed- please feel free to send me a message/enquiry 😊.
Additional information:
Whilst I'm looking after your pet, I'm happy to take in post and parcels, water plants, put out and take in any bins.

Violet was wonderful - she could tell I was very nervous about leaving Albie alone, and so sent me daily pictures to soothe my nerves.
