I am an animal lover and have always had pets growing up from dogs to cats to hamsters and rabbits and also birds and fish you name it. 
I have four children all over 10 years old now who also love animals and enjoy playing with them and taking care of them. 
I work with children as a nursery nurse at the moment but I have been looking into getting into the animal care world and looking after your lovely animals will be a great start. 
I offer dog walking and day care everyday. I can also check on your pets while you are away and make sure they are fed and looked after. Spend a little time with them so they are not alone and lonely while you are away. 
I have a garden they can play and sit outside. We enjoy getting out as much as possible I live close to many parks and also a forest area so we can go on some lovely walks. 

As a dedicated pet lover, my journey into pet sitting comes from a passion for animals and a deep understanding of the trust pet owners place in those who care for their furry family members. Growing up surrounded by pets, I've developed a natural love for dogs and other animals, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. My motivation to be a pet sitter is driven by the joy I find in ensuring pets are happy, healthy, and well-cared for, even when their owners can't be around.
I bring several years of experience in pet sitting, during which I've cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior dog needing extra attention, I tailor my care to meet each pet's unique needs. Well I'm joking, but it's hard to talk about experiences when it's your own pets but I have got some exemple
1- growing with two howling huskies, I won't explain 14 years of life.&nbsp;
2 - My neighour had a black cat, Gupil, she gave her to my watch after gupil had her babies, cause she had a too ig family with very young kid that were not understanding how fragile was a kitten. So I kept the cat and babies for few weeks, maybe more, time for babies to learn life, get fed and goes to their forver familly
3- I took care of lulu, my friend's cat left alone after her mom died, he basically was living more like a street cat, but then starting to like my dog and became the house cat, until he died.&nbsp;
4 - Rescued an abandonned cat were I lived, poor boy was the only kitten left, nobody wanted oh him because he was sick, I took home with me.
5 - Kitten and mom hidding in garage , surviving on their own, I try to get the mommy like me so she gave me her baby to care about, wouldn't live the house anymore, she ended up almost living in my sofa and I kept one of her baby as well.

I have always loved animals, did horse riding, went to the mountains with my parents where they did Nordic dog races.&nbsp;
Many cats at home, I like them all, except spiders and snakes.&nbsp;
I like mouse, rats, hamster, guinea pigs, ferets, cameleon, lezards, birds, snails...&nbsp;
But one more time, I have never had experience so someone will just have to give it a try, and a hand to go ahead. I am not going to invent myself a life for 9 pound.&nbsp;


Experienced cat and dog sitter. Used to have a trained police dog, grew up on a farm so am familiar with many different types of animals. 
Looked after cats and dogs after surgeries, assisted in delivering kittens, volunteered at animal shelters, so have experience looking after vulnerable animals. 
Consider animals to be a part of my family. Grew up in a big household with a few dogs (2 German Shepherds) and a few cats, rabbit and fish, so have first hand experience looking after different types of animals, understand their needs and the different characters animals can have.

Hello! I am a warm, active, person who loves moving around, taking care of homes and pets! I am looking to take good care of homes whilst people are away, ensuring they come back to the clean, well-maintained, happy house they left! I am able to look after pets, I grew up around a lot of animals in the countryside, mostly rabbits, geese, chickens and fish, but also was around cats and dogs and I love them so much. I also am able to happily take care of plants and other house duties. I am calm, confident and happy to undertake what you'd like! I have done dogsitting for a couple of greyhounds before, and a longer stint as a house and cat sitter. After losing my much loved cat Pickle who lived to the great old age of 16, I would have loved to get another cat but sadly my son had developed a bad allergy. Some years on I still miss Pickle (and his brother Branston who we sadly lost as a kitten) and miss the chance to interact with cats. Recently, I have compensated by looking after a friend's cat in their home. Seeing how much I enjoyed playing, cuddling and caring for their cats and the way in which I bonded with Gus and Lola, they suggested I register on Pawshake! So here I am, offering genuine care for your cats in your home - whether that's drop-ins or stay overs! I have done one stay over where I looked after a gorgeous house cat and a labrador puppy (as I also do dogsitting too). Having retired, I am loving the chance to spend more time with cats and dogs - it is so therapeutic! Would love the chance to care for your precious pet. Availability: I am available morning, afternoon or early evening.
Services include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays (if required), giving oral medication, cuddling and playing with your cat and sending you updates/photos. During home visits I would stay for an hour to interact with your cat and provide them with some company and care.&nbsp;
Whilst housesitting, I can water plants, take in mail and parcels, be in much of the day (if required). I can stay in your home for as long as you need me and will make sure it is secure if I need to leave and draw curtains or leave a light on if I am out to make sure it looks lived in.&nbsp;

My love for dogs and animals in general started as a young kid when my family got a Cairn terrier, who was a real handful but meant the world to me. We are now lucky enough to have our own rescue black lab mix Eddie, who we adopted whilst on a diplomatic posting to Washington DC. As well as being well travelled he is the friendliest dog around and we love him dearly.  My wife and I have recently relocated back home to the UK for her career  We are now looking to have new adventures and make friends with other dogs and animals in the area. Not able to have other pets in our home unfortunately, but I'm completely free and flexible to walk, sit in and look after other peoples vaccinated pets in the Colliers Wood and surrounding area.
