Hello, I am Emma, a lifelong pet owner and dedicated animal welfare professional. I have over 3 years professional experience working with a variety of animals in rescue centres and I recently completed my degree in wildlife biology where I studied animal behaviour and welfare and completed my own research project & dissertation in this subject area. I know how important our pets are to us and I endeavour to ensure every need they have is met.
I have previous experience of informal pet sitting in my local area and I am keen to continue this on a professional level, developing relationships with clients and their furry friends alike!
I have worked and held voluntary positions at animal rescue centres for the past 3 years. Prior to this, I studied animal behaviour and welfare, ethical animal training and welfare legislation modules as part of my wildlife biology degree at university. I have personally trained my dogs and all of my animals have been rescues so I am familiar with behavioural problems.
I devote myself to providing the best possible animal care so your fur babies will be in the safest hands. I have a love for all animals so I am happy to look after whatever breed/species your pet may be!
I unfortunately cannot board other pets at my house due to having dogs and a cat of my own but I am able to offer sitting at your house, home visits, dog walking, and day sitting at my home on a case-by-case basis.
I can look after unvaccinated animals as mine have up-to-date vaccines but I do ask that this is disclosed prior to any services being agreed upon.
