Hi, my name is Maia and I'm an enthusiastic animal-lover and first year vet student who wants to help care for your pets! I offer pet sitting services for all kinds of pets and also dog walking services. I can medicate pets as well either with pills or oral syringes. Having had 2 cats, 4 ferrets, 2 rabbits and a guinea pig throughout my life, I know how to take care of a large variety of animals and make sure all their needs are met. I also have experience dog sitting and walking and absolutely adore all dogs! I have completed animal handling work experience at the Wildlife Aid Foundation where I learnt how to care, feed and water many wild animals like birds and hedgehogs, so you can be assured that I am experienced in tending to many animals, domestic and otherwise! I also have extensive experience in handling and medicating birds like budgies. My love for animals and my want for them to be happy and healthy is a big motivator in my decision to study veterinary medicine at Nottingham University! I would love to gain more experience in caring for animals while simultaneously helping out families in my area. I understand the worry that families with pets go through when being away from them and how it can be a stressful time for both parties. I want to help relieve that stress by providing the best care and company for your animals so that you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands!
