I'm an animal lover and have experience in pet sitting, both daycare and overnight stays. **Please note that I am currently only able to offer overnight stays in my home for small rodents or other similar pets due to my lease agreement but I am able to offer home visits and house sitting for all other types of pet.**

I work as a freelance translator in addition to pet sitting. This work is highly flexible meaning I can fit my projects around your pet's needs. I'm keen to work with all kinds of pet, no matter how big, small, fury, scaly, enerjetic or shy. I understand that plans are subject to change and so I have a flexible cancellation policy. I also understand the anxieties around booking a pet sitter, so offer a free, no-pressure meet and greet before booking and can provide DBS check results on request.

I have a small dog of my own so I'm very experienced in canine care as well as cat care and small animals. I understand that different pets have different social needs and know how to adjust my care appropriately for overly nervous or overly energetic pets.

I am home most of the time due to working from home and I live with my boyfriend who is also experienced in pet care and who will be on hand to help out in emergencies. Pets will be housed in my spare bedroom/office area and under no circumstances would our pets be introduced, and I am sure to wash my hands and change clothes between handling.

The services I offer are:

Home visits: I offer up to 30 minute visits morning, afternoon or evening with your pet during which I can feed them, play with them, let them outside to go toilet, and/or administer medication as necessary. I am able to provide up to 2 home visits a day depending on your needs – or can combine two visits into one hour if that suits your pet better. While at your home, I can bring in/take out wheelie bins, water plants and bring in any post or parcels you might have received while away.

House sitting services: Includes all the services from a home visit as well as up to 3 walks per day as needed. House sitting can be offered for day visits (with a discounted rate) or for overnight stays depending on your requirements. I am able to remain in your house for most of the day and pets will not be left alone for longer than two hours at a time. 

**For home visits/house sitting services, please ensure that all pet equipment such as a harness and leash, food, treats, and toys are left in a visible place**

Small animal boarding (listed as dog boarding): I offer boarding in my home for small rodents such as rats, hamsters, rabbits, reptiles etc. Please contact me first so I can explain which option to select when booking. **Please note that I do ask that owners provide their own cage and food for this service if possible to ensure your pet feels as comfortable as possible in a different environment. ** I'm experienced in rodent and exotic animal care through having pet rats of my own, so you can rest assured that your pet will receive the highest standard of care. Your pets are guaranteed to receive lots of socialisation and treats at Casa Lauren!
