About Alice
My motivation to be a pet sitter is because animals mean the world to me, i have one cat and two dogs who have honestly changed my life and i wouldn't know what to do with without them. I've had pets for most of my life, and constantly walk them, feed and take care of them and attend to what they want ! Animals are something i care deeply about and find they uplift me and i find it really rewarding and enjoyable to take care of them!
As for my experience i was a volunteer at Caple Farm in Crystal palace park. I volunteered for them for one year as part of my duke of Edinburgh silver award. My jobs at the farm were learning about the different types of animals and what types of environments they live in, preparing what the different types of food the animals eat in a day and general cleaning, mucking out and making sure they got to the designated place safely and washing, cleaning and brushing them!
Although i loved working on the farm i would like to do more work that envolves my interests more taking care of and making sure animals are safe in a more homely environment.
