I am a very kind and caring animal lover. I grew up on a small holding farm so have experience with all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs as well as exotic and farm animals. I am passionate that animals deserve the best care possible and endeavour to do all it takes to ensure they are happy being with me whilst their owners are at work, away or on holiday.
I am currently on maternity leave following the birth of our second beautiful non fur baby, however, I should be able to accommodate requests as needed.
I have always rescued dogs with complex needs so am accustomed to medication administration.
We rescued Bailey in 2019. He is a double dapple dachshund but unfortunately due to bad breeding, has been blind from birth. He had to have his right eye surgically removed due to complications and this was done when he was very young and before we rescued him. He came to me at the age of 2 after being passed from home to home. I was only meant to foster him but fell in love immediately and adopted him within the first week. He is a wonderful boy and does not let his blindness stop him from living his best life and navigating the world around him. Due to his blindness and being attacked by another dog in a previous home, he is very anxious around other dogs (particularly other males) which means I am unable to care for other dogs in our home at the moment. I’m hoping with continued support, he will overcome this in time. He has successfully adjusted to a very select handful of bitches that belong to family and friends where it has taken time to build the relationships using slow step introductions, perseverance as well as understanding and empathy towards his blindness and the previous life experiences he has faced. As it stands, the well-being of your pet as well as his health and happiness is my priority.
I am available for home visits and dog walking and am also happy to collect pets if they have favourite places to go, for example, the beach or the woods. I am available for other pet services such as transportation- it's my job to make your pet as happy as possible with the time I am given with them.

Charlotte looked after our kitten for ten days and she was brilliant. Charlotte gave our kitten lots of play and cuddles, being attentive to how young she is. Daily pictures and videos from Charlotte ensured I knew our kitten was safe and happy. This also meant I didn't worry about the house either. The whole booking process, including a meet-and-greet was easy and trouble free.
I would definitely recommend Charlotte and will book her to pet-sit in the future!
Charlotte always takes excellent care of our cats and keeps us regularly updated ❤️
I have travelled abroad to do voluntary animal conservation.
I also have a degree in Psychology and took time to study animal behaviour as part of this.
