My name is Meg and I'm 23 years old from Dundalk.

My house is animal mad. I currently have two dogs, Lily and our recent pound rescue, Toby. We lost our beloved springer spaniel Daisy, 1.5 years ago, at nearly 14 years old. I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I love walking my own dogs, on the beach, forest, mountains and taking them on road trips. My dogs love joining us on holidays, having joined us on holidays to Donegal, Kerry, South Of England and wales. Along with this, we have 4 cats. Francie, the eldest, a playful but very lazy tabby cat🤣 Then, Moses, Tippy and Hanky, the three brothers🐈‍⬛

In my spare time, I am also currently a volunteer with Dundalk Dog Rescue (1+ year). This role involves walking, cleaning, play time and feeding all the dogs in the rescue centre. This role involves working with various different breeds of dogs and of various different backgrounds. I am really passionate about volunteering here and I love getting to spend time with these dogs who are awaiting their forever homes. It is heartbreaking to see the conditions some of these dogs come into the centre and to see some of the dogs so shut down. But it is worth it to know you are making a difference in their lives and helping them on their journey.
