I've grown up with 5 different rescue cats across my life, and have regularly house-sat to look after both cats and dogs for friends, neighbours & family over the years. I absolutely adore the company of cats, but I unfortunately can't currently adopt one in my rental apartment so looking after other cats and brief encounters in the streets is currently where I get my feline fix. I'm new to Pawshake, & hoping to build up some recurring visits with cat owners nearby. I currently am not taking bookings for dogs as I want to see how much pet-sitting I can comfortably fit alongside my job before I commit to longer hours.

I work from home 2/3 days a week - they can vary as I have a lot of autonomy over my work but these are typically Mondays and Fridays - which is helpful if you are away for a long weekend and need someone to check on your furry loved one. I am able to work from your home if you would like me to spend the day keeping your kitten or cat company, as long as there is a good wifi connection. I can also visit on days where I work from the office, but my hours are limited then to 7-10pm. I like to keep daytimes relaxed over a weekend, making it easy for me to head over to check on & spend time with your cat at the best time for you.

As well as feeding/picking up and changing litter/brushing/playing, I have experience with administering oral & topical medication for the strongest and scratchiest of cats, having grown up with a rather emotional and anxious chunky-lady rescue cat with a talent for acquiring ear & eye infections!

I am a civil servant, so I hold enhanced DBS as standard. I'm very reliable and responsible - more than happy to meet you beforehand before booking with me for the first time as I'm aware it can be a nervous experience to trust someone new with your home and pets.
