I am a registered veterinary nurse with a wealth of knowledge and experience in handling a wide range of species. I have had pets from a very young age when my brother and I were allowed to have gerbils and hamsters. I have owned gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, cats, and dogs. I have also cared for family hens, and had the loan of a pony, as well as being around horses from the age of 9. I attended Reaseheath College for around 7 years where I cared for a wide range of species at the college zoo. I devised a training plan for porcupines as well as feeding and cleaning the enclosures of other species including birds, reptiles, tapir, capybara, lemurs, ponies, alpaca, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, and poultry amongst others. I was allowed my first dog at the age of 10 and have become a keen dog behaviour enthusiast due to owning difficult and reactive dogs. I have owned cats from the age of 18 when we adopted a local stray (or rather he adopted us). I have also taken in a number of rodents from the veterinary surgeries I have worked in and am confident in handling and caring for them.

My passions lie in small animals and canine behaviour and training. Having owned sensitive and reactive dogs, I have experience in how best to approach, handle, and train worried and nervous dogs.

Being a registered veterinary nurse, I am familiar with many illnesses and medications. I am happy to administer medications orally, topically, and via injection as and when needed. I am also happy to provide transportation to and from veterinary appointments. I have a van with secure crates fitted for safe transport.
I have worked in the veterinary industry for over 10 years, and been qualified for over 7 years.

I also have a degree in animal welfare and behaviour.

I am currently unable to take animals into my home due to my elderly cats, but I am happy to provide dog walking, pop in sessions for any species, and house sitting.
