At the moment I have 5 small dogs, 5 cats, 3 birds and fish. In the past I had hamsters and snails, they died from old age. When my friends are on holiday, I am watching their pets. Most of them cats, I go to feed them in their own houses, cleaning litters, changing water, playing with them. Watering plants. Feeding fish sometimes. Little dogs I take home to stay with us, usually it is only 1 dog at the time. My dogs introduced to dog- visiter. I am not planning to take new dogs in our house just now. But I will be very happy to look after cats or small animals in people's houses. I could take birds in but with cages. They need to have drops from fleas. I enjoy meeting new animals. Most of cats like me. But if cats are wild and not friendly, I just do what I was told : feed, water, clean litter. 
I have many years experience of looking after different animals and pets. I grown up in village where my family used to have animals. My brother and I fed animals, cleaned after them. If required medication I was responsible for it.
