I'm an empathetic pet owner, sitter, dog walker & photographer who has grown up with small pets as well as dogs and cats! I adore being around animals, and have enjoyed volunteering at a variety of places, including: Horse Stables, Hedgehog Rescue Centre, Donkey Sanctuary & more! Being around animals gives me a sense of peace and I'm happy to take the time to get to know more shy fur babies!
I've always loved animals, and wanted to work with them in some way from a young age. I suffer from anxiety and depression and it's taken me a long time to find the confidence to start, and I'm still building that confidence now as I go. Animals are my whole world and I'm grateful to have the opportunity in my life to dive in to pet sitting and hopefully expand my services in the future as I save for and take qualifications in this field!

As with all animals who grow older, additional attention is needed, with small pets such as hamsters I'm proficient in weighing them daily, as well as administering any medications. I have senior care experience with cats and dogs as well, gentle exercise, soft massage, delicate brushing and proficiency in administering any medications as long as full comprehensive instructions are provided.

Julie and her partner are both really friendly and calm people that I was able to trust with my new foster dog who can't be left home alone and gets very anxious while I am out. Even though I only left for about an hour each day, Julie made sure to send me updates and amazing photos. I was very impressed with how professionally everything was handled and the attention to detail, tailoring the best experience for your pet and making sure to cover all the bases. Will absolutely be booking again whenever Julie is available; it's clear that both of my rescue dogs love and trust her which is not something that comes easily for either of them 🐾
